Urban List Joe's Deli Bris

There’s something about a loaded, freshly made deli sandwich that hits different. Whether it's the nostalgia, the cloud-soft fresh bread or the oozing fillings that don’t quite fit, Italian deli sandwiches are on another level. If you agree, say hello to Joe’s Deli, with the Gold Coast-born Italian-inspired delicatessen bringing its flavours of Italian American street food to Brisbane.

Located in the CBD, Joe’s Deli isn’t your typical ‘grab’n’go’ style deli—New York-style booth seating, nostalgic hand-painted signs and 90s hip hop music will ensure you want to sit and stay a while. The 80-seater also has a full-service bar and laneway seating, making it the spot to be for both your lunch break and after work drinks—or now, even breakfast if you just can't wait until noon.

If you haven’t sampled their menu on the Gold Coast, all you really need to know is that Joe’s Deli is on a mission to make the humble sandwich great again, slinging an extensive array of deli sandwiches and subs. Signature stacks you can wrap your hands around include their famous meatball sub (there’s a vegan version too), Cuban sandwich, tempura prawn po boy and Southern fried chook sangers.

A new exclusive post-5pm menu also features the likes of the Cotoletta, with a parmesan crumbed pork cutlet topped with onion, coleslaw, roast garlic aoili and salsa verde, and The Italian Job, stacked with a chilli and garlic rope sausage, rocket, roasted red peppers, provolone, balsamic onion jam and chimi churri on toasted ciabatta. You can even pair them with Joe's new canned Lager, Pale Ale and Ginger Beers for just $6 a pop from 5pm-7pm.

As for their new breakfast menu, from 8.30am-11am daily you can now start your day with sangas like the Joe's Avo Stack, featuring smashed avocado, tomato, feta and picked red onions on toasted milk
loaf bread, or the Joe's BLT, with beef bacon, iceberg lettuce, tomato, hash brown, garlic aioli, hot English mustard and crinkle cut pickles. You can pair it all with an actual cup of joe (made on Single O beans) and hashbrowns if you're extra hungry.
